The Past, Present, and Future of NTP Operations at AusNOG 2017

Paul Gear, an NTF individual member and volunteer, presented a talk at AusNOG on September 7th in Melbourne, Australia entitled The Past, Present, and Future of NTP Operations.

We were ecstatic to have Paul take the time from his day job at Canonical Ltd. to speak on behalf of Network Time Foundation about the current status of as well as the future plans for our Network Time Protocol (NTP) and Network Time Security (NTS) projects.

According to Paul, the talk was well received, even by those who were unfamiliar with NTP going in. “A few told me they had never thought about NTP much before and were grateful for the introductory matters,” he said.
